It's my pleasure to begin my 24th year of teaching in Tonganoxie. I currently teach 8th grade American history, focusing on the years of 1492 through 1900.I earned my B.A. in History/Government education from Sterling College and my MAT in Social Studies from Emporia State University.I also serve as the sponsor of both the TMS History Club and the Girl Talk group. My husband Steve is also a teacher in U.S.D 464 and we have two daughters - Mallory, who is junior at K-State, and Lauren, who is a freshman at Missouri State. Our canine daughter, Cookie the pug, keeps us entertained. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by phone at 845-2627 or e-mail at [email protected]. My plan time is from 9:30-10:15, which is the best time to reach me during the day. For updates to my profile, go to TMS Eighthgradeteam.weebly.com and click on the American History tab.
